“Open attention acknowledges that the 'prime mover' is the innate intelligence of the organism,
which when unencumbered will know exactly what to do” . Emilie Conrad
Hello. My name is Leonora and I was born and raised in London. I am half Italian and have lived half my life in Rome.
My Yoga practice began is my teens when, despite not being very good at any sort of physical activity at school nor feeling particularly comfortable in my own skin, I began following my mum to Yoga classes.
In those days there wasn't all the choice we have now. However, I loved the way it made me feel and experienced a whole range of unexpected benefits (mainly to do with feeling more comfortable in my body and settling my anxious mind) that prompted me to begin a Yoga journey, which currently spans about 30 years.
My teaching experience began roughly 20 years ago, when I moved to Rome. Over the years I have taught all ages and levels, in many different contexts including, community centres gyms, Yoga centres, corporate Yoga, festivals, retreats, workshops, one to one as well as mentoring and teaching on 200 and 300 hour recognised teacher training courses.
Over the years I've continued to explore and train in various styles of Yoga (including Anusara, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Restorative, Therapeutic, Aerial Yoga, Perinatal Yoga and Integral) as well as other mindbody practices. I am also trained to teach Pilates, Garuda, Gyrokinesis, Tai Chi and Chi Kong, and am currently training to teach the Alexander Technique.
I teach in both the U.K. and Italy.
